Ordering a portrait

You can compare the different kinds of portrait. Any order implies your agreement with the general sales conditions.

Choosing the photograph

The success of a portrait from photo highly depends on the photograph. You will need one that you love, clear, with faces enlightened enough and not too small. If you were to hesitate, you could also send several photos.

Sending your order

Once the photograph chosen, all you need to do is to send me an email via the contact form specifying at least how many portraits you wish and for each one :
- the desired size (A4, A3...);
- the number of people;
- if you wish a portrait from photo or a sketch (sketches are only pencil made);
- the desired technique (pencil portrait, watercolour, oil painting, charcoal portrait, acrylic...).
If your request is special or if its amount is not is not indicated on this website, you will get a free estimate.

Sending photos and payment

Once we agreed on the order and on its amount, I will provide you with my postal and email adress so that you can send me your photos and your payment. I am able to accept international payments by cash card and Paypal, and by cheque provided it comes from a French bank account.

Drawing and receiving your portrait on order

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as I receive your photos and your payment. I will then begin to draw it and when it is ready, I will send it to you by colissimo. You will simultaneously receive a confirmation e-mail to inform you of its deposit and its track and trace number.

Portrait from photo or sketch?

What makes Kulasap's portraits so particular is not only the unquestionable quality of her works, but also her unique technique of the alive portrait.

Far from being satisfied with the only likeness of the portrait, she considers it her duty to make it alive by a long and meticulous work on volume, shapes and light. Such an emotionnal work is only possible thanks to the work and observation time she dedicates to it.

Sketches give you the opportunity to give somebody at a very low price a simple and light portrait, attractive without being that much refined.

You can visit the galleries of examples and compare the different kinds of portrait to make your own mind on how those styles are different.
